#100HappyDays 8-17

I know, I know, I haven't blogged in a good week or so... BUT I have had good reason! Firstly, last Monday, I started my new job, and secondly, myself and Tim have moved in together!! It's all very exciting. We got the keys last Monday, but have only just officially moved in, due to not having any furniture! I will be doing a tour of the place once everything is unpacked and we are settled, but for now I thought it was about time that I caught up with my #100HappyDays photos! We've got a lot to get through, so let's get going!

Day 8: We bought this lovely blue orchid for the flat, it looks so pretty in our windowsill, plus blue is my favourite colour!

Day 9: I went to Cotswalds Wildlife Park and they only have a low wall around the penguin enclosure, so I got pretty close to this guy! He even let us stroke him!

Day 10: Tim treated me to lunch at Café Rouge! I just had a chicken baguette, although he also let me have a pudding, so I had their tarte tatin! Which is freaking awesome!

Day 11: The first day we had keys to the flat, so I thought I would sneak up a cheeky photo of it! This is actually part of the living room...

Day 12: We had our first takeaway in the flat, although there was flatpack furniture everywhere...

Day 13: I've started taking softmints to work, and they are seriously scrummy!

Day 14: We finished putting our bed up! This was actually the first night we slept in the flat, it was awesome! P.s it's a kingsize!

Day 15: My first home made lunch, in my brand new lunchbox, I was extremely proud!

Day 16: I went to see Fall Out Boy with my sister, and we got to the second row!!! It was THE most awesome concert I have ever been too. I sang along to every single song, and now with it only being the day after, my voice is all over the place.. totally worth it though.

Day 17: I was very lucky that Tim and I received this Air Fryer as a moving in present! We'd been eyeing one up since way before we even chose the flat, but now we have one! We are both seriously excited to use it!!

Wishlist Wednesday: My Ideal Bedroom...

As you may or may not have heard, in a few weeks I will be moving out with my boyfriend. As such I have spent a LOT of time surfing the internet and looking at furniture for our new place. That is when I stumbled across the beautiful French Bedroom Companies website. I am a massive fan of French style furniture, however unfortunately for me, my boyfriend is not. SO to satisfy my urge for a completely french style bedroom, I thought I would make a wishlist! Everything featured below is all from the same website, and you should be able to find all of it there!

As you may be able to tell from the photo, I am a massive fan of white. I love how pretty white furniture can look, and a bedroom always looks so modern with white furniture and a pop of colour. With my favourite colour being blue, I think it would suit perfectly with this furniture. My favourite item by far of this list has to be the dressing table, it's just so grand, and would look amazing in any room. I am also a big fan of the faux deer wall hanging, I've been looking at these everywhere, and I might just end up buying one and giving my boyfriend no choice but to hang it, they are too cute! I also never thought I'd like a chandelier, but this one here seems to work with everything else I picked out, and I certainly wouldn't be unhappy to see this hanging in my bedroom. Maybe one day I'll get my wish to have a fully french style bedroom, we'll just have to see!

My Instaweek #5

As you may or may not know I have been SUPER busy this week. Hence why my blog and general online presence has been seriously quiet. I finished my final university assignments at the beginning of the week, and then spent the rest of week packing and then hanging out with my friends before moving home. I moved back today, and I've spent pretty much all day attempting to find space for my stuff! I have a couple of job interviews in the next few days so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Also normal blogging schedule should resume this week!

ALSO I am aware I started Blog Everyday in May, but as soon as I started it I realised that I really don't have the time to commit to it, so therefore I won't be doing it anymore.. (I know, I suck)

1. BBMPC #6: My Home: This is my local pub, which is actually currently closed down! (Sad times)
2. Flowers: These beautiful flowers were on the main street in Aberystwyth on a really sunny day and they made me smile, and had to share them.
3. Icecream: As it was super sunny me and Ellie decided to grab Thorntons icecream! I had Mint Choc Chip, Honeycomb, and Raspberry Sorbet. It was super yum!
4. May Ball Wristband: These were the wristbands we were given for May Ball this year, it was really uncomfortable and tacky.
5. BBMPC #7: Handwriting: I found this shirt from a white t-shirt social with Bay Radio. It is adorned with hilarious phrases.
6. Photo opportunity: We found this photo stand near the Pier on the day when we went to the beach, and had to give it a go!
7. SANDALS: I finally got to crack out my sandals on a sunny day, it was thrilling!
8. Photo opportunity #2: Me and Ellie of course also had to have a go at the photo stand too!
9. Standard BBQ supplies: Lots of Cider, to get drunk with. 
10. BBMPC #8: Snacktime: I was going to take a photo of my lunch, however I forgot, so I took a picture of this snickers icecream instead.
11. BBMPC #9: What I Wore: My favourite t-shirt, yes it's My Little Pony. #YOLO
12. BBMPC #10: Pet: My little Maizey Moo, the love of my life <3
13. Shiny new 3DS XL: It's so beautiful! This definitely cheered me up today when I was getting emotional whilst unpacking my things!
14. Tomb Raider: This has been waiting for me for WEEKS! It's the special edition and I bought it second hand, and I was delighted when I opened it to find that it wasn't actually taken out of the packaging, so it is actually new!
