Wishlist Wednesday: Valentines Day Gifts

Wednesday, 10 February 2016

In case you didn't already know, it's Valentines day this Sunday, and I don't know about you but I already know what I am hoping to receive this Valentines. To make it easier on my boyfriend I like to make him a list with plenty of options for him to chose from. However he doesn't have to get me something from this list, he can just use this list as a sort of inspiration...

8. Square LED Mirror: £43.23

I will admit that I did put a little something in there that I really don't expect to receive because of the price of it, but a girl can dream right?

Let me know in the comments what you are hoping to receive for Valentines day?

Wishlist Wednesday: Yours Clothing

Wednesday, 3 June 2015

I first heard about Yours Clothing when I watched a channel 4 documentary about Plus Size Fashion. I myself am plus sized but have never really bought into the whole idea of fashion made specificaly for plus sized women. However seeing as my weight has sky rocketed a little recent and I am struggling, I thought it was about time that I started looking! I started with a pair of work trousers, and honestly they are probably some of the most comfortable trousers I have EVER had. With that in mind I wandered onto the Yours website and picked out some of my favourites...

Let me know in the comments which of these are your favourite, and I may just go with your opinion and scoop something up!

Wishlist Wednesday: Lipstick Edition

Wednesday, 7 January 2015

Over Christmas for some reason I decided that I wanted to start wearing lipstick. I own a fair few lipsticks, but have never been crazy on them, finding that they normally dry out my lips too quickly, or that the colour simply doesn't look right on me. Last year my sister became obsessed with wearing red lipstick, and seeing how confident she feels when she wears it, makes me want to do the same... With that in mind, I've chosen a few lipsticks that I wouldn't mind giving a go!

  1. Barry M Lip Paint - Pink Champagne: £4.49
  2. Barry M Lip Paint - Pale Nude: £4.49
  3. Barry M Loud Mouth - Diva Deep Red: £3.99
  4. Bourjous Rouge Edition Shine Lipstick - Rose xoxo: £7.99
  5. Bourjous Rouge Edition Shine Lipstick - Mauve Tabloid: £7.99
  6. L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Collection - Exclusive Eva Nude: £4.99
  7. Max Faxtor Flipstick - Bloomy Pink: £8.49
  8. Maybelline Super stay 14h Lipstick - Stay With Me Coral: £6.99
  9. Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter - Strawberry Shortcake: £5.00
How gorgeous is that Barry M Lip Paint in Pink Champagne... If it wasn't currently out of stock I would have to snap it up, in fact I'm going to be watching that lipstick very closely. Another must have for me is definitely the Bourjous Shine Edition Lipstick in Rose xoxo, if I owned this lipstick I would have to wear it every day without fail.

Let me know in the comments what your favourite lipstick is, especially if it is one of the above!

Wishlist Wednesday: Video Game Edition

Wednesday, 19 November 2014

This week i've been thinking about Gaming a lot, so I thought I would share with you, what is on my gaming wishlist.
  • Mario Kart 7 3DS: I know this has been out ages, but I haven't played with my DS in a long time, and I finally picked it back up this week!
  • Just Dance 2015: A game that I LOVE to play with my sister and humiliate my boyfriend with, why wouldn't I want this?
  • The Lego Movie Game: I loved the movie, so I'm fairly sure I would love the game.
  • Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask: I like Mystery Games, and Professor Layton games always have an awesome storyline.
  • Assassin's Creed Unity: *Cue line I have said 1 million times already* The Assassin's Creed Series is my absolute favourite, and the only series I have completed in full (except Black Flag which I am currently playing), so this is a must have for me!
  • Sunset Overdrive: As soon as I saw the trailer for this game I knew I had to have it. It really reminds me of Mirror's Edge, and even a little of Jet Set Radio Future, which was won of my favourite games when I was a little younger.
Let me know in the comments which video games you are currently loving, or which are on your wishlist!

Wednesday Wishlist: Hair Edition

Wednesday, 5 November 2014

From top left to bottom right:
  1. GHD V Lagoon Styler: I've always wanted my very own GHD's and this colour is just perfect for me.
  2. Tigi Superstar Queen for a Day Thickening Spray: I have very, VERY fine hair, and therefore will do anything to help it out.
  3. Tangle Teezer Aqua Splash: I already own a Tangle Teezer and I am seriously in love with it, and am dying to add to my collection.
  4. Tigi Bed Head Epic Volume Shampoo and Conditioner: As mentioned above, I have fine hair, so I'm always on the look our for a decent Volume shampoo.
  5. Babyliss Hot Rollers: Again to add Volume to my hair, which tends to lay pretty flat.
  6. Lush No Drought Dry Shampoo: I'm in love with Batiste dry shampoo's, but ever since I heard that Lush has their own version, I have wanted to try it.
  7. Babyliss Pro Curl: I love curling my hair, and after seeing this reviewed on Youtube, I have wanted it ever since, maybe I'll get my hands on it one day...
  8. Lush Roots Scalp Treatment: I have an itchy scalp particularly the longer I leave my hair in between washes, the worse it gets. This scalp treatment looks interesting, and I really want to give it a go.
  9. Lush Marilyn Hair Mask: I always want to treat my hair like a star, and what better way to do that, than with this Hair Mask.

My Ultimate Baking Wishlist...

Monday, 27 October 2014

Seeing as I have been getting back into baking recently, and you can check out what I have made so far here. I have been scouring the internet looking for the perfect baking tools to assist me in my baking quest!

From top left to bottom right we have:

1. The Andrew James Electric Food Stand Mixer in Black: This is Amazon's most popular stand mixer, I myself am desperate to own a Kitchen aid, however I am aware that their price tag is way out of my reach at the moment. So I'm looking for an alternative, and at £79.99 this looks to be good value for money.

2. Andrew James 'Spare' Bowl for Mixer: Obviously needing this is dependent on me having the food mixer, but as most recipes call for several mixes and icings, I thought it might be handy to have two bowls. That way I don't have to pause in between to wash the bowl up so I can get on with my baking. This one costs £18.99

3. Andrew James Stainless Steel 5 Piece Mixing Bowl Set: I'm currently using some Poundland plastic mixing bowls, and whilst they do the trick, they are cracked (still working though) and they do get scratched a lot by my hand mixer. Having a stainless steel set would mean that I wouldn't have to worry about them cracking, also they come in various sizes, handy for baking. At £19.99 I think this set is definitely worth giving a go!

4. Andrew James Multifunctional Food Processor: I have a cheap Morisson's own food processor that is a constant source of annoyance for me, every single time I want to use it. It doesn't hold enough, and the blade never catches all the mixer. This processor looks neat enough, and comes with an army of attachments, and for £69.99 I think that it's a steal.

5. Andrew James Ice cream maker attachment for Stand Mixer: Another reason to buy the food mixer above, you can buy an ICE CREAM MAKER attachment. That makes me seriously happy as I love ice cream and would love to make my own proper stuff, this dreamy attachment can be yours for £29.99.

6. Masterclass 20cm Square Cake Tin: I've got loads of regular cake tins, but how cool would it be to make square cakes? Masterclass is a good brand of bake ware, and at £10.20, I'd love a couple of these to add to my tin collection!

7. 52pc Stainless Steel Piping Nozzle Set: Just think of all the cake decorating I could do with this set, the thought of it, literally makes me go giddy with excitement. 52pcs for £11.24 is a total bargain!

8. Silicone Rolling Mat: One thing I noticed when making my sausage rolls yesterday was how little fun it was to roll pastry directly onto my work surface, so one of these at £14.99 would really save my life.

9. Baking Beads: I bought some of these AGES ago and they have mysteriously gone walkabouts, so I need more of these in my life before I decided to make a tart, they're only £5.00.

10: Flat Baking Sheets: These would be perfect for when I am baking biscuits, and pastries to ensure they get an even bake, for £5.40 I think a couple of them could mosey on in to my collection, right?

11. Premier Housewares Cake Stand and Dome: How cute is this? I need a pretty serving plate for my cakes and this one is so beautiful. Yes, I don't strictly need this, but I WANT it, and it's only £17.14...

12: Savoy Disposable Piping Bags: Last and by no means least are some piping bags. I'm no stranger to a piping bag, but I'm forever having issues with mixture coming out of the top of them, probably because the ones available in Tesco are far too small. These one are large in size, and a professional quality, so I'm sure they'd be less hassle for only £2.35, right?

October Blogging Challenge #8: Wednesday Wishlist: Phone Cases

Wednesday, 8 October 2014

Today's prompt was supposed to be a 'Day in the Life' post, however as I'm not planning to do anything interesting today, I thought I would share something else.

Originally I was going to search all over Etsy for some different kinds of cases for you all, but then I found the iCaseBeauty store. I fell in love with so many of the cases that I knew I could make a whole post just about this one store! This post does focus mainly on Iphone 5s cases, however this store does make cases in other models just so you are aware.

From top left to bottom right:

  1. Beauty and the Beast Rose case
  2. Tardis Case
  3. Harry Potter Marauders Map Case
  4. Up Case
  5. Beauty and the Beast Case
  6. Green Elephants Case
  7. Cinderella Case
  8. Tardis Starry Night Case
  9. Jasmine Case
Now you may notice that there are no prices alongside the cases listed above, and that's because they are all the same price, £4.46. I'm in love with all of these cases and I will have to pick at least a couple of them up. Let me know which of these is your favourite in the comments!

Wishlist Wednesday: Nerdy T-shirt Edition!

Wednesday, 9 July 2014

Hello everyone! I hope you have all been well, I am still trying to figure out my blogging/Youtube schedule and how it's going to fit in with my life so bare with me and I will get there eventually...

Recently I have seen some pretty awesome t-shirts that I am wanting SO badly, but with saving up for my (several) adventures in August, I currently really just don't have the money to spend on buying them. I will though, eventually...

1: My Little Dalek T-shirt: We all know how much I love my little pony, and Doctor who, and this crossover couldn't be more perfect. I actually squealed when I saw this t-shirt design for the first time!
2: Fox Assassin Shirt: Foxes are cute, assassin's are awesome, therefore a fox assassins is super awesome cute and deadly... Seriously don't mess with him!
3: The Burton that waited: This shirt is another amazing crossover, this happened to pop up on my Facebook feed ages ago, and trust me when I say I HAVE to have this shirt...
4: Let it Gogh: I am obsessed with Frozen, and this shirt just screams nerd to me... I must have it.
5: Nook Neighbours Club: I'm not ashamed to admit that I play Animal Crossing, I got obsessed with it on the DS, and now I own New Leaf on the 3DS. I don't play it as often as I would like, but it still holds a place in my gaming heart, this shirt is the perfect way to showcase that!
6: Doctor Pony: This shirt is all kinds of perfect sadness, and it's beautifully designed...
7: Tim Burton Pop Culture: My favourite director's masterpieces on an artsy shirt? YES PLEASE!
8: Dalek Assassin: We've already established that I love Doctor Who, and Assassin's creed is probably my favourite game series of all time, so this shirt therefore is a must!
9: Frozen Ponies: Elsa and Anna as ponies, and Olaf as a baby dragon! I literally cannot handle the feels...
10: Don't Blink Tim: Is it just me, or do the angels look even creepier in a Tim Burton Style *shudders*
11: Shaun vs Zombies: I've been playing a lot of Plant's vs. Zombies Garden Warfare recently, and when I stumbled across this shirt I thought it was too perfect to not include in this list!
12: Fluttershy: My favourite My Little Pony character looking super sweet... How could I resist?

So there we have it! My must have nerdy shirt list... Although considering it's going to cost me about £150 for all of these, I may have to collect them over a period of time. God knows how I'll pick which one to buy first.

Let me know in the comments which your favourite design is, and which I should buy first.

#BEDM 11: Weekend Wishlist...

Sunday, 11 May 2014

It seems to me as though it has been forever since I last did a wishlist post... So I thought it was about time I got back into it.What my wardrobe is really crying out for at the moment is some summer dresses. Most of the ones I own are heavy, which isn't ideal for the sunny weather that is hopefully coming soon, so I hopped on over to the Newlook website and had a nosey through their sale...

1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9

I love every single one of these dresses, I am absolutely gutted that I haven't got enough money to buy all of these, but I can certainly see a few of these slipping their way into my wardrobe!

Are you looking forward to the summer?
