A-Z of Me: I is for Instagram

Monday, 2 November 2015

You may notice that I haven't completed an A-Z of me post in a long time, and that's because I have been stuck on what to do for the letter 'I'. Then whilst I was browsing my social media today I was looking through all of my old instagram photos and reminiscing, and I thought it would be an awesome idea for a blog post for me to share ALL of my instagram photos! Prepare yourselves for a very photo heavy post...

Let's start with the year that I finally got instagram, 2013...

Then came the year that Tim and I decided to move in together, 2014.

Finally moving on to this year, 2015.

Looking at all of these Instagram pictures really makes me realise how much has changed for me in the last three years, and honestly if I had the ability to turn back the clock, I wouldn't change a thing!

Sum Up Sunday #26

Sunday, 4 October 2015

It has been over a month since I last did a Sum Up Sunday post, which I find completely crazy, but I guess I have just been super busy, and here is what I have been up to:

  1. New baking posts every week following the Great British Bake Off
  2. Visiting Family in Wakefield
  3. Assisting in the Hair and Makeup Department at Goodwood Revival, a vintage 40's/50's/60's/70's festival.
  4. Attempting to do some Halloween themed makeup tutorials for my Youtube channel
  5. Starting a New Job at a video game retailer

Wow writing it down in a list really makes me realise just how much I have been doing, and it's tiring me out just thinking about all the amazing stuff I have done... but instead of going on and on about each individual thing, why I don't I just share all the photos with you?

Food is always a massive part of my instagram, if you follow me there then you will already know this. The first picture above is some mini-pancakes I had in Westfields when I went after SITC 2015. The rest of the pictures (apart from the last one) are of my bakes that I have been doing for the Bloggers Bake Along to GBBO, and as it stands I haven't missed baking a single week! The final picture was a treat I actually had last weekend when Tim and I found out that Koppaberg (my favourite cider company) does an alcohol-free cider, so even though I've given up alcohol, I don't have to give up cider! You have no idea how happy this makes me...

For some reason the past month or so both my makeup, and my selfie game have gone up, not that I am complaining because IMO I look damn good! When I was at Goodwood myself and they other assistants were allowed to get our hair and makeup done by the team because we were on site for a lot of the day, so this meant I got to live a vintage look for three days in a row! The first two days I was stuck in the 50's and then on the last day I asked for a 60's look, which ended up being my personal favourite, and I was so surprised to find that I can rock a beehive!

Other than that the biggest change in my life these past months is that I have a new part time job. I work for a video game retailer, as a customer service advisor in their call centre. I don't want to name them because I know sometimes companies aren't always comfortable with their employee's talking about them on social media outside of work, (even though I have been told it's perfectly fine by my company), so I won't be doing it. All I will say is that so far it is probably the best place I have ever worked at. The atmosphere is amazing, everyone is like minded and everyone plays video games. On game release days they have contests and raffles where you have chances to win consoles etc. which I think is amazing. There are consoles set up in all of the staff areas for you to play on your breaks... Oh AND there is an onsite shop where you can go and buy games etc. and get an automatic staff discount, and it is an exact copy of their actual retail outlets, and it's literally just in the middle of the office. It's so cool... I've currently only been there for two weeks, but it's probably the best two working weeks I have ever had... I am currently on a temporary contract to cover the peak period of the year, but I am hoping and praying that come January they will want to keep me on!

Currently I'm:
Reading: The Scorch Trials by James Dashner (still...)
Listening To: Fall Out Boy!
Playing: Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer
Feeling: Tired after a long working week, but very content
Looking Forward To: Seeing Fall Out Boy next week!!!

Sum Up Monday #23

Monday, 3 August 2015

From Top Left to Bottom Right: Comfortable Cat, New Running Shoes, Cinema Selfie #1, Inside Out Sippy Cups, Baking again, Sven and Olaf, Cinema Selfie #2, GBBO New Book, Walking Maizey.

I'm surprised with what I have managed to get done last week to be honest. I've been to the cinema twice, starting running, done some baking for the first time in seven months, and managed to take my dog for a stunning country walk!

Let's start with the cinema. Tim and I both get the Meerkat Movies 2 for 1 cinema tickets, so we decided to go to the cinema twice last week! Firstly we went to see Inside Out which I have been dying to see since I first saw the trailer... When we got to the concessions we saw they had these sippy cups with the characters on top, and I knew I had to have one. I went for Sadness and Tim opted for Anger, which is funny because they both turned out to be our favourite characters in the entire movie! I don't want to give too much away but it was such a good film, and was very true to the Pixar aesthetic, and there were even a few tear jerker moments included. There was also a really cool Pixar short shown at the beginning about two volcanoes that was super cute!

Then the next night we opted for something the complete opposite and went to see a new horror film, The Gallows. I don't know what we really expected with this but honestly Tim and I were both pretty on edge watching this. Although I was disappointed to see it followed the whole 'hand-held' camera trend that has become super popular among horror films ever since Paranormal Activity was released, I was actually pleasantly surprised. If there is one thing that this film has in spades, it is suspense... There were points in the film where I was literally holding my breathe because it was so tense. I was surprised that there was actually a pretty good twist at the end that I personally didn't see coming, although Tim claims he knew pretty early on in the film. Either way this one is definitely worth a watch!

Last week also saw the first time in SEVEN MONTHS that I have baked anything. I literally cannot fathom how it has been that long since I last baked something... Anyway, as you may know if you read my blog I am taking part in a Bake Along with GBBO challenge and myself and the other bloggers were far too excited to wait until GBBO started (this wednesday) and so we set ourselves the challenge of making something from one of the Ex-Contestants. I made myself some Pain au chocolat blanc made by the one and only Louis from last season. You can check out how they turned out here

Finally yesterday Tim and I went over to see Maizey and decided to take her for a long summer walk. It was a good opportunity for me to show Tim some of my Village that he has never seen, and also to take Maizey on a walk that she had never done before! We managed to find a random pile of logs on our trial and decided to used them as a photo opportunity, and it actually turned out pretty well!

What have you been up to the past week?

Currently I'm:
Reading: I've literally just finished Evil in Return by Elena Forbes
Listening To: Oldschool Eminem
Playing: Flash games online
Feeling: Excited for GBBO on Wednesday
Looking Forward To: Summer in the City!! (still)

Sum Up Sunday #21

Sunday, 5 July 2015

Top left to bottom right: Back to work selfie, Gourmet Burger Kitchen Treat, Walks with Maizey, Filming a video for Tuesday...

Once again this week has been pretty quiet for me. I returned to work on the Benefit counter on Monday, only to decide once I was there, that it really wasn't what I wanted to be doing. So after consulting with the boyfriend for a few days, I decided to quit, I am going to be doing something else, but there will be more on that soon!

Saturday I had a job doing Wedding hair and makeup for a bride and makeup for one bridesmaid and I was so happy with the result. The bride wanted turquoise liner top and bottom, and it looked so stunning on her, and her bridesmaid wanted a look that would enhance her eyes, so I used my new favourite Urban Decay palette on her. Both of them were happy with the results, and I am getting more and more confident with hair the more I do it!

Today has probably been the busiest day of my whole week as Tim and I went shopping, Sunday is our treat day on our diet so we ended up going to Gourmet Burger Kitchen, I had an amazing Chicken, Camembert and Cranberry burger, and of course sweet potato fries, but I also tried one of their Honeycomb milkshakes for the first time ever and I was not disappointed.

Then Tim and I headed out to visit my family, and dogs, mainly because my nan got me a dress and I needed to check whether it fitted me... but it's always a bonus to get to see everyone, especially Maizey. As predicted she was super excited to see me, and Tim and I decided to take both the dog for a run in the field near my house, and we were all having a lovely time until it started pouring down! I was wearing a summer dress and shawl, so needless to say I got pretty soaked, but the dogs seemed pretty excited about the whole thing. Then I came home and filmed a video ready for Tuesday, the result of which you can see above... all will be revealed soon!

Have you had a good week?

Reading: Still have yet to pick something.. feel free to recommend to me!
Listening To: Michael Jackson and being digusted with my boyfriends lack of MJ knowledge

Sum Up Sunday #20

Sunday, 28 June 2015

Couple's Selfie, Iron Man Makeup, New Youtube Video, A giant fan in our room, Playing with table confetti, New jelly sandals.

This week has been all about getting my life back on track. I had a doctors appointment, and an appointment with the HR department at work discuss me coming back. I've also spent the week being back on a diet, which has been surprisingly easy to follow. I am back on the Weight Watchers diet and this time I am doing the pro-points diet instead of filling and healthy meaning it is much harder for me to have a sneak snack and justify it as I have to write EVERYTHING down. Thankfully there is an iPhone app making it so much easier for me to make sure that I am on track. So much so that I managed to lose weight on my first week, yay!

This week I did my first proper makeup tutorial on my Youtube channel, and it was an Iron Man look, and it turned out way better than expected, if you want to see that you can check it out here.

Finally today I attended the Christening of my newest cousin, Eve. She is six months old and is seriously one of the cutest babies I have ever seen. Plus it was nice to see another family member being Christened in our family church, where we have ALL been Christened, and where hopefully one day my children will be Christened too!

Let me know what you have been up to this week in the comments below...

Reading: Nothing, I am picking my next read as I type
Listening To: Taylor Swift - Bad Blood
Playing: Games on my iPhone
Feeling: Nervous and excited
Looking Forward To: Going back to my job

May Roundup!

Sunday, 31 May 2015

My finals photos, Decoration at my training, new watch, Snapple my favourite drink, Cuddles with the nephew, barn owl handling, Lush Oxford Street, Pamper evening face and foot mask, White chocolate waffle.

May has been quite a weird month for me, and a lot has happened this month. I started a new job, went to London for training, met another owl, and had some pampering and baby cuddles...

As so much has happened I thought that it was only right that I talked about some of the highlights of the month for me!

I went to a chocolate making evening in Reading, and got to make some yummy treats. As soon as I walked through the door I was hit by the smell of chocolate. That was due to the three huge vats of chocolate in the back of the room, one white, one milk and one dark... It was amazing... On the table in front of us was a huge selection of sweets to use on our chocolate, although most of them made it into our mouths before it did our chocolate...

We got to select our favourite flavour of chocolate to be the base of our bars, and we could even swirl them with other chocolates, which I attempted to do... badly I might add! Then we got to stuff our bars full of sweets. Once they were done we moved onto making a chocolate lollipop, and three truffles. By then end of the evening I felt sick with the amount of sweets and chocolate that I had eaten but I still had an amazing time!

The day before I went off to do my training Tim and I decided to go and spend the day in London hunting down some of the Shaun the Sheep sculptures that are currently all over London. They are all based on different themes and sponsored by different companies, and the idea is that you try and find as many as you possibly can. There are free maps you can get and specific trials you can follow, but honestly the maps were so confusing that Tim and I gave up after finding a mere eight Shaun's. That was about the time we headed to Lush Oxford street which you've already heard a tonne about.

I hope you've all had a good May, I know I have, and I hope that my year continues to be full and interesting!

This Week I'm...

Reading: Lots and lots of blogs
Listening To: A 90's Playlist on Spotify
Playing: CSI on Xbox 360
Feeling: Lost at the moment to be honest
Looking Forward To: Getting better

Sum Up Sunday #6

Sunday, 4 January 2015

From Top Left to Bottom Right: All my Baking Books, Christmas Chocolate collection, new stand mixer, Hot chocolate with all the trimmings, Gingerbread house, Sister Selfie, NYE Selfie, New Blog notebook, Gourmet Burger Kitchen, Selfie with my bro, Wedding Selfie, and Cuddles with Sven.

I don't even know how I have managed to cram so many things into this one week, no wonder I am so tired! Tim and I started off our week by finally organising our Christmas presents and finding places for them all. This prompted a clear out of our shelves, so that I could fit all my baking books onto them. Well I wish they all fitted on one shelf... some of them are actually floating around on a separate shelf... This also meant we had to find somewhere for all of our Christmas sweets and chocolates and thankfully we have a few spare shelves on our TV unit which is now housing a tonne of chocolate.

I finally ordered a stand mixer! I settled on one by Morphy Richards which was £69.99, my plan is to use this one for now, and then to save up all my money to buy a Kitchenaid later on, maybe when Tim and I finally move into our own place (I can dream right?). Tim and I have been very naughty this week before our new diet kickstarts next week, we've eaten far too many sweets and treats, including building a gingerbread house, drinking hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows, AND going out to Gourmet Burger Kitchen for lunch... All I can say is I'm going to miss all of these treats when our new lifestyle really sets in next week.

I've also attended a few events this week, of course it was New Years Eve on Wednesday, and we went to a party in my village, and there was a lot of drink and dancing. To be honest I didn't drink too much, Tim maybe had one too many, my 16 year old brother on the other hand came home completely sozzled, having managed to sneak a LOT of alcohol from under my dad's nose. Tim and I left the party early and went home to bed, and were rudely awoken at about 1:30am by my Dad barging into the living room demanding that I go and help him sort my brother and sister out who were royally pissed. I managed to get them out of the kitchen and up the stairs then as soon as I had settled myself into bed I heard dad shout, 'Oh now he's chundered everywhere', of course I had to go investigate, and I found my brother in a right old state. By this point my mother had now also been woken up (she was at home ill and didn't go to the party), and obviously was none to pleased to find my brother rolling around on the bathroom floor absolutely paralytic... We all tried and failed to get him to bed, and it took us about an hour of helping, and laughing to get him sorted. I can honestly say I have never seen anyone in that bad a state, he was talking nonsense, and crying... There is video evidence of all of this (which I took to show him the next day), but he's promised to ruin my life if I ever share this with the internet. Other than that it was a pretty good night.

Then yesterday I attended a wedding of some of our family friends, and it was a lovely ceremony. It's made me get the itch to get married to be honest... I'm just waiting around for a certain someone to ask! Then when we were outside my sister managed to snap a couple of decent photos of Tim and I, which I couldn't resist sharing.

Apologies for the soppy-ness, but I rarely take a good photo, so when I happen to get some good ones I always get excited. I'm not normally a fan of 'kissing' photos, but my sister snapped us mid-kiss and I think it looks really beautiful... It's probably one of the best pictures we have of us together actually...

Then to top off an amazing weekend I managed to handle Sven for about 15 minutes this evening! It was lovely, he was running all over my leg very confusedly, but settled down and then didn't seem too bothered. He did give me a little nip when I picked him up to put him back in the cage, but I think I scooped him up too quickly and he didn't like it. Either way, I see that as a success!!

This week I'm...

Reading: Blog posts! I'm enjoying reading everyone's resolutions/goals for 2015
Listening To: 'Who Run The World? Girls' playlist on Spotify
Playing: Luigi's Mansion 2 on 3DS
Feeling: Tired... and like I haven't stopped at all this week.
Looking Forward to: Getting back into a normal routine next week, even though that means going back to work.

Sum Up Sunday #5

Sunday, 28 December 2014

From top left to bottom right: Cute box for my new hobby, Pajama Selfie with the boyf, Christmas Jumper, Christmas Make-up, Christmas Selfie game with the sis, Cuddles with my doggy, Maizey thinks she's a cat, Chocolate Mousse Cake, Getting Tim's niece to sleep.

This week was Christmas! If you didn't know that then where have you been? It's been a very fun, and also very tiring week, I can't wait to use the next week to relax...

I've decided to pick up a new hobby, and I needed a box to keep all my stuff in for that hobby, so after a quick trip into TK Maxx I spotted this adorable Parisian style box, and it's the perfect size for all of my things.

For Christmas Eve, Tim and I decided to start a new tradition whereby we buy each other Christmassy Pajamas, and it just so happened that this year, our pajamas matched.

Then comes all the Christmas Day photos, which of course feature lots of selfies. I bought Maizey a Christmas dress, and she loved it and looked so cute in it! She wanted lot of Christmas Day cuddles, and I even managed to get her to attempt to open her Christmas present (a new dog bed). Christmas Day was also the first time that I have ever worn properly red lipstick, and I think I liked it...

On Boxing Day Tim and I headed over to his families for our second Christmas Day and we got to have lots of cuddles with his Niece. She was feeling a little under the weather and was fighting not to go to sleep, so I laid her down and rocked her to sleep. Tim was seriously impressed with me!

This Week I'm...

Reading: All the baking books that I have been bought for Christmas, and struggling to decide what to bake.
Listening to: The Frozen Soundtrack (Agian)
Feeling: Tired after a long week of Christmas Festivities!
Looking Forward to: Sleeping in every day for the next week, before having to go back to work!

Sum Up Sunday #3

Sunday, 14 December 2014

From top left to bottom right: Being almost front row for Paul Hollywood, Tim feeding his niece, our fully decorated Christmas Tree, my best haircut ever, our personal Christmas ornament, Gerbil Snuggles, Red Velvet cupcakes from work, Expert Christmas wrapping, Christmas pants, Putting presents under the tree, Tim has a friend, My brother and Dad washed my car.

Seeing as I didn't write a Sum up Sunday post last week, this is a Sum up of the past few weeks. Starting with going to see Paul Hollywood! We bought our tickets from Wowcher as they were half price, as such we didn't expect the seats to be that good, however I was pleasantly surprised to find we were three rows back from the front. When Paul came out all the older ladies in the room were swooning, I'll admit he does look pretty attractive, it's those piercing blue eyes... He was very normal, he was just like he is on the Great British Bake Off, blunt, serious, and a little childish at times. He spoke about Mary a lot, much to my joy. He even tricked us into thinking that she was backstage and was coming on to bake with him (as they had been together at the BBC Good Food Show the day before), but alas he was lying, there was no Mary. Still it was interesting to watch him do his stuff, and he even did a challenge with 4 lucky audience members, and stood looming over them watching their every move just as he does in the Bake Off. I really didn't know what to expect when I bought the tickets, but I'm so glad I went as it was so much fun, and we've been given some interesting new recipes to try out.

Before we went to see Paul we popped in to Tim's parent's place to see Tim's sister for her birthday. Much to our delight Tim's brother was there with his daughter Olivia. She has grown up so much since we last saw her! We got plenty of cuddles and everyone managed to bully Tim into feeding her dinner, which I know he secretly enjoyed. I always love being around Olivia, because she is so cute, I'll admit it does make me broody, which Tim doesn't like so much!

Last week I spent a lot of my evenings wrapping Christmas presents, seeing as we had bought all of them (except each other's), we thought we may as well wrap them all. This year we decided to try and level up our Christmas wrapping skills with the addition of some nice quality paper, and Ribbons and bows. I was happy to find that my skills have improved since last year, and our presents are looking very neat and tidy under the tree! It so nice to walk into the living room and see them sitting under the tree, it makes me feel 100% more Christmassy.

On Saturday 6th I booked myself in to a salon to get my hair cut properly, after about 6 months of having nothing done to it. Normally I go to somewhere that's cheap, because I never seem to get the cut that I want anyway so I don't see the point in spending a tonne of money on a cut I didn't really like anyway. However I decided enough was enough and that I needed to go to a proper salon, and pay a little more to get it done properly! I wasn't disappointed, I went to a lovely little salon near where I live that was recommended to me by a few people on Facebook, and they treated me so well. I got my hair washed, cut, blow dried and curled, and the girl doing my hair really took her time with me. I had taken a picture in of the style I wanted, and at every stage she asked me questions about how I wanted my hair. I came out of the salon and I was in shock. My hair was so perfect, and still is. It's the exact length I wanted, it looks beautiful, and it feels healthy, I will definitely be going back there!

This week I also had my first eyelash tint, by a mobile beautician, also recommended to me on Facebook. See was doing a pamper package of a Manicure, Eyebrow Wax and Tint and Eyelash tint for £23. She came over on Thursday and talked me through the eyelash tint as I had never had one before, and it was honestly probably one of the weirdest experiences. When I saw them though, I wondered why the hell I hadn't had them done before, they frame my eyes perfectly. Again I was satisfied, and I will be calling her back when I need my eyelashes done again!

So there you have it, that's what I have been up to the last few weeks, let me know in the comments what you have been getting up to!

This Week I'm...

Reading: Nothing, I really need to start a new book...
Listening to: Christmas playlists on Spotify to get me into the Christmas Spirit.
Feeling: a little bit ill, but battling through it.
Looking Forward To: My Christmas meal with my family and Tim's family tonight!

Sum Up Sunday #1

Sunday, 23 November 2014

My Animal Crossing Diary, Starbucks at work, Trying sleepy tea, Yogurt covered cranberries, Blueberry Pancakes, Cute bear hat, My favourite Mac 'n' cheese, Injuring my thumb, Pin the dummy on the baby.

This week has been pretty full on. At work I have been bogged down, and trying to get used to a completely new job role. Don't get me wrong, I am really enjoying it, there is just a hell of a lot to do, and also remember. I haven't really had a lot of time for me this week, but I've got a few more exciting things coming up next week, so I can't wait for those!

I'm really enjoying getting back into Animal Crossing, if you haven't been following you can read my first two diary entries here and here. I'm making some serious progress on this game, and even making some new friends.

The best thing about where I work is being able to go and grab a Starbucks or a Costa not even a stones throw away. On top of that we get sent (free) fruit boxes twice a week, packed full of all different fruits. This week a lot of our team were working from home, so by Friday there was plenty up for grabs, including a punnet of blueberries. I snagged them and decided to make blueberry pancakes, which I had never actually tried. They will no be making their way into my regular recipes.

Yesterday Tim and I went to look for a Baby shower gift (for today), but couldn't find anything, I did however find this cute bear hat, which I didn't buy, but may go back for by the end of the month. Tim then made his Mac 'n' Cheese for myself and his mum, who thoroughly enjoyed it! It is seriously the best Mac 'n' Cheese in the world, no lie.

Today I had a baby shower to attend, and having not found a gift yesterday, mum decided to pick me up early so that we could go and take a look at Mothercare. Unfortunately as I was making my way to her car I slipped on a rather mossy path and took a rather big chunk out of my thumb. As I type this it is splinted with a lolly stick, and wrapped in cotton wool. I fear I may have done something a little worse than simply taking a chunk out of my thumb, as I am in extreme pain whenever I bend it. If it hasn't calmed down by tomorrow, I will be taking a trip up to A&E...

Other than that today was really fun, we played a couple of games at the baby shower, including pinning the dummy on the baby, in which I managed to get mine on the babies shoulder. My mum also decided we would play the 'Smell the Nappy' game, in which we were given 5 nappies to smell and had to guess what was in them. All of them (apart from one) were chocolate, so it wasn't anything too gross, and the final one was peanut butter and mustard, which I managed to guess without issue! The baby shower was for my uncles girlfriend and she only has about a month left of her pregnancy, and I honestly can't wait to meet my newest cousin!

This week I'm...

Reading: Mary Berry's autobiography, which is taking me longer to read than it really should be.

Listening To: The Hoosiers, The Trick to Life. An album that I was obsessed with as a teen, and have recently rediscovered.

Feeling: Sick :-( Mainly due to the pain I am in with my thumb, I hope this passes by tomorrow.

Looking Forward to: Going to Bristol next weekend with Tim, it'll be very nostalgic, and Christmassy!

I hope you're week was good, and I'll speak to you all again next week!

Insta-catch-up: July/August

Friday, 5 September 2014

I can't believe I haven't done an Instagram post for TWO MONTHS! I am in genuine shock right now... Oh well, better late than never right? Prepare yourselves for a severely photo-heavy post coming your way!

1. I did the Race for Life in the beginning of July, and I completed it in 47 minutes, which considering I walked half of it, I was pretty please with.
2. Pasta bake from Pizza Express.
3. My brother clowning around, as per usual...
4. Drinking Raspberry cider (my new favourite flavour) and playing Xbox One, the perfect way to spend a day.
5. I finally cracked open my monster Easter egg that Tim got me, and I still haven't finished it, even now.
6. Tim surprised me with flowers, he is such a sweetheart.
7. I wore a skirt for the first time this summer.
8. Tim made an amazing Mac n Cheese, it is the best I have ever had!
9. Tim treated me with Pancakes for breakfast, I am the luckiest girl ever.

10. I bought a maxi skirt this year, and this was a photo of the first time that I wore it.
11. I made chocolate bowls, and home-made ice cream for a date night with Tim, you can read all about that here.
12. I painted my nails for the first time in ages, this was also my first experience with Barry M Gelly polishes, and they are so good!
13. I bought two wristbands on the first day of Summer in the City, a Phandom wristband and an ASDF wristband, aren't they cute?
14. I met Toothless the dragon! He was hanging out at Festival Place in Basingstoke, I did get a few weird looks taking this picture I will admit.
15. I tried Bubble Tea for the first time.. and unfortunately I didn't enjoy it!
16. Awkward selfie much?
17. I met Dan and Phil!!! They were so sweet, Dan took this selfie for me, also they are SUPER tall.
18. My queen! Tyler Oakley... We did the same pose as last Summer in the City, mainly because my last photo was blurry! He is such a legend.

19. Niki of NikinSammy signed my wristband that I bought at Summer in the City.
20. A Sneak Peek of the frame that I made for Tim for his birthday!
21. I met the one and only Charlieissocoollike, I asked him to do a rock pose... I don't think he got it though!
22. I facetimed my dog, and she was so confused!!
23. I tried a new flavour of cider, still doesn't beat raspberry for me though!
24. Tim and I went to our local pub, they do these amazing burgers. I had a BBQ Pulled Pork and American Cheese burger...
25. Nothing is nicer than using new bedding, and nothing is nicer than MY new bedding.
26. Tim made me steak last week to cheer me up because I was having a seriously down day.
27. I took my brother and sister to see As Above So Below, the new horror film that came out the end of last month. It wasn't that scary to be honest, it was more that it was so uncomfortable to watch due to the setting of the film.

So there we have it guys, that's what I've been up to the past few months! Let me know in the comments what you guys have been up to!

So I know that recently I have been absolutely pants at keeping up with my online life. To be honest it's not that I've been too busy, or that I have been lacking motivation, I have just had a terrible case of writers block. Every time I sit down to write a blog post, I start, maybe get a paragraph into it, and then give up. However I have promised myself that I am going to start getting back into this now! I was only supposed to be taking a short break whilst I moved home and settled into a new life with my boyfriend. Enough is Enough!

So I thought I'd start off with something simple and share all my instagram photos with you from the time that I have been absent on here! I am also STILL taking part in the #100HappyDays photo challenge, but it's just taking me longer than most to complete...

24th May 2014: My cousin came down to visit for her little boys birthday and we all went to Monkey World. He loves taking selfies, so I always make sure I snap a few with him. In this one he was a little distracted by the TV!

25th May 2014: Treating myself to a mini mint magnum! My first Magnum in a long time I believe!

26th May 2014: After seeing all the lovely nails that my colleagues at work have. They all get theirs done professionally once a month. I decided that it was about time that I gave myself a mani! Of course it had to be blue...

30th May 2014: We had Tim's friend, Keith over for dinner, and he bought me a bunch of flowers! He is such a sweetheart!

1st of June: Tim and I treated ourselves to a Costa, and I tried their iced mocha mint drink. It was scrummy, but so filling, I couldn't finish it!

1st of June: Tim and I had a curry, this was the night before I started the 5:2 diet and is the last takeaway I actually had!

5th of June: My second after fast day on the 5:2 diet. We had these lovely Turkey burgers for dinner, they were seriously tasty, and only had 300 calories per serving!

8th of June: I finally got around to wearing my Lion king t-shirt that I got at Primark!

8th of June: I took my nan up to Costco, and we always have a slice pizza from their 'food court', I can't believe this massive slice only cost £1.50...

11th June: I made this SUPER tasty Cowboy Chicken Stew from the Easy Cook Magazine that Tim and I have recently subscribed to. The chicken literally fell apart, it was so tender!

16th June: Tim and I got sick of ordinary pizza, so we made puff pastry pizza! this one had ricotta and caramelised onions!

20th June: My workplace had a 6th birthday BBQ and we managed to get our own personal ice cream man!

20th June: This is the ice cream that I had (courtesy of the company I work for), it's a bubblegum knickerbocker glory! I really struggled to finish it...

21st June: I posted a picture of the dinner that I had last night! Salmon, with rice stuffed tomatoes! This was my first time eating salmon in three years, and I really enjoyed it...

So there you have it, that's what I have been getting up to whilst I've been away! I'm going to try and be better with posting, but I honestly can't promise anything at the moment... I guess we'll see...
