Wishlist Wednesday: Disney Mugs

This week I've really been feeling very Disney, so I knew that when it came to my wishlist post that I would be looking at some Disney related items. I went to the Disney store website, and was immediately drawn to the mugs, they have such a beautiful selection, and I could easily own all of them! Instead I picked a small selection of mugs that I knew would be top of my list.

It's been ages since I have done a good tag, and what with the recent release of Disney's Cinderella, I thought it was about time I had a go at a Disney related tag post! I found this one online and it's called the 'Epic Disney Tag' and it questions you about all the things you love about Disney. Now we all know that I was brought up on Disney and it is very dear to my heart, so why not share more about me with you all?

1. A Scene in any Disney movie you wish you could experience?

This is a seriously tough one, as there are so many scenes that I would love to experience... Although now I am thinking about it I cannot get the lantern scene from Tangled out of my head... To be on a boat in the middle of a lake, watching thousands of lanterns decorate the sky, with my true love by my side... what could be more dreamy?

2. An unforgettable moment you've had at one of the parks?

This is not necessarily a happy memory for me, but it's one that makes me laugh every time I think about it. When I was seven I went to Disneyland Paris with my family and my dad took me on the Ghost ride, I can't even remember what it was called, but looking into it I think it was the Phantom Manor. So I went on this ride as a seven year old girl, and let just say I was terrified... no not terrified, traumatised. Anyway when I finally got off of the ride my teeth wouldn't stop chattering, like you know in old school cartoons how when a character is scared their teeth chatter... yep... I was literally straight out of an episode of Scooby-doo! AND they wouldn't stop for another 30 minutes after... silly me eh?

3. What non-disney song brings back disney memories for you? 

This one is a tough one to be honest and nothing springs to mind...

4. When was the first time you went to a Disney park?

As above. When I was seven years old I was lucky enough to go to Disneyland Paris, and I have been since then (despite numerous efforts).

5. If you could chose any Disney character to be your best friend, who would it be?

It would have to be Anna from Frozen, me and her are like two sandwiches in a picnic basket! 

6. Who is your favourite Disney Princess?

Probably Tiana from Princess and the Frog. Her hard working attitude is one that I myself share, and I've always gone through life believing that nothing is greater than something that you have worked hard for and earned yourself! 

7. Name a scene/moment from a Disney film that makes you cry without fail?

There are honestly a million scenes in Disney that make me cry, what can I say? I'm an emotional lady... but if I had to pick one it would definitely be the scene in Wall-E when EVE installs a new chip in him, and for a moment you really believe that his character has been completely lost... I blub like a baby at that moment without fail...

8. Your favourite Disney movie?

I have many, as do most Disney fans. I couldn't pick just one, even if I tried. In fact I have been sitting staring into space for the last 20 minutes trying to think of one, and that just goes to show how hard it is...

9. The most overrated Disney movie?

Frozen without a doubt, but it still happens to be one of my absolute favourites! I understand there are a million people out there wishing that the Frozen hype would just die... I however chose to embrace it!

10. The most underrated Disney movie?

Without a doubt The Fox and Hound... I LOVE that movie. I was obsessed with it when I was a kid, and yet I speak to so many people who like Disney, but have never even watched it! It saddens me that people tend to overlook it.

11. Favourite Disney Song?

Another seriously tough one... therefore I MUST name a few:

• I Just Can't Wait to be King - The Lion King
• Be Our Guest - Beauty and the Beast
• Part of That World - The Little Mermaid

12. Least Favourite Disney Movie?

Probably Pinocchio, I don't think I have ever seen it the whole way thorough...

13. Most memorable Disney villain?

Ursula is definitely a contender... As is Maleficent.

14. Favourite Classic Disney vs your favourite Modern Disney?

My favourite Classic has to be Aladdin, mum says I used to sit in front of it all the time when I was a kid. My favourite modern Disney is probably Frozen, but I honestly couldn't pick between the two in a fight!

15. Favourite Disney Score?

Hands down Frozen, it's the only score that I can sit down and listen to the whole way through without getting distracted!

Wishlist Wednesday: Birthday Wishlist

I can't believe it is only a few weeks until my 23rd Birthday, it feels like yesterday that my 22nd one was creeping up on me! Tim has been begging me to do a list of stuff I want for my birthday, so I thought it was about time I gave in. Hants/Berks/Surrey Blogger Secret Santa!

I'm part of a Facebook Group called Hants/Berks/Surrey Bloggers and this year a Secret Santa was organised for people of the group. I for one love doing Secret Santa's not for the gifts that I receive, but because I love giving gifts to people! I finally picked up my gift which had been delivered to my mum's house, and I couldn't wait to see what I had gotten. I was surprised with how heavy the package was, and with how much there was inside the bag. I had six gifts in total, which considering the price guide was £10-15 I was seriously happy with!

I know you are all dying to see what I got, so I won't keep you in suspense any longer...

The first thing I opened was cute and Christmas themed, it was this pair of Reindeer ears and some cookie mix, which is brilliant as we all know how much I love baking.

My sister was sitting with me when I opened my gifts, and was seriously jealous when she saw this super cute notebook. I love Disney, it's one of my biggest passions, and doesn't Minnie Mouse look so hipster on this? My Secret Santa even included a pen, and as the title of this notebook is 'Blog' I am guessing that is intended for planning blog posts. This is actually a godsend as I don't currently have a notebook for blog ideas!

Next I opened this gorgeous Frozen fleece blanket! I am obsessed with Frozen, I mean come on guys, who isn't? I actually re-watched it last weekend with Tim (it was his first time seeing it the whole way through), so when I saw this I had a little giggle to myself. This is perfect for snuggling up on the sofa, especially as it's quite cold in our flat, as we are trying to save money!

This lovely little decorative sign was the next thing I opened. It's funny because I have been singing this to Tim over the last few days as he has never heard the song!!! It's also perfect because I love baking (how many more times do I need to mention this). This has immediately taken pride of place in the kitchen, and can't wait to see it in our own place when we move in a few months.

Excuse the weird angle of this picture, I was trying to avoid glare from the lighting in the room. This is a book on how to make some mini treats. I love all things sweet, and everything is so much cuter in miniature right? It also comes with a few accessories to assist you with your creations.

Finally I opened up this Mary Berry book, as soon as I saw the words, 'Mary Berry' I got excited is she is my absolute idol, and I don't think I will ever be sick of getting presents related to her. This is a collection of Christmas Recipe's which is perfect for this season. Also just look how cute Mary looks on the cover of this book, and also how giant the Turkey is!

I have to say a massive Thank You to my Secret Santa for getting me some amazing gifts, I honestly don't know how you got all this for under £15, but I am glad you did! You really must have taken the time and care to read my blog and get to know me a little bit, and I am so thankful for that. My sister was sitting next to me when I opened the gifts, and even she was so impressed with how well you understood me. I cannot wait to use my gifts, and I hope that you have a really lovely Christmas. If you would like to come forward after Christmas then I would love to send you a Thank You card!

October Blogging Challenge #8: Wednesday Wishlist: Phone Cases

Today's prompt was supposed to be a 'Day in the Life' post, however as I'm not planning to do anything interesting today, I thought I would share something else.

Originally I was going to search all over Etsy for some different kinds of cases for you all, but then I found the iCaseBeauty store. I fell in love with so many of the cases that I knew I could make a whole post just about this one store! This post does focus mainly on Iphone 5s cases, however this store does make cases in other models just so you are aware.

Primark Haul #3

Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing well! I'm alright, been very, VERY busy the past few weeks, and I've been taking some time to try and get my life in a little more order. Now I'm back and I'm kicking it off with something nice and easy, a Primark Haul!

The first items on my list were some new cardigans in summer colours for work.

These were £4.90 each, and of course I had to pick up a blue one to wear. Although I did surprise myself by picking up a pink one, especially as pink isn't normally a colour I chose.

Next up I headed over to the t-shirts section, as I always tend to pick myself up a new t-shirt when I go to Primark, and I certainly wasn't disappointed.

This gorgeous Pug t-shirt was only £5, and will pair with most of my outfits! Plus who can resist pug faces?

As soon as I saw this Disney tee I knew I had to have it. The Lion king is one of my favourite Disney films, and this t-shirt is just too cute. It came in at £6 so it didn't break the bank either!

Something else I was on the hunt for were some light summery cardigans to wear over bright summer dresses, or even in the cool summer evenings, once again Primark delivered.

This beautiful large lace crop cardigan was a must have item for me. It cost me £10, but as soon as I saw it, I knew it would be perfect for my holiday to Wales in August.

As well as the lace cardigan I wanted something a little bit heavier, but still light, for when the summer breeze gets a little chilly, and this cardigan covers me perfectly. I went for white as it will go with everything and will be perfect against any summer colours. This one set me back £8.

The final items on my list was Summer footwear. My last favourite pair of sandals managed to last me a good 2 years, but they just fell apart, so I knew it was time to move on.

These laser cut sandals are feminine but at the same time not too girly. I'm not a massive fan of fake flowers or pearls on sandals as I think they look super tacky, so this is the perfect amount of feminine for me, and at £4 I couldn't leave them there.

I tend to buy a new pair of flip flops every year, normally because by the time autumn comes around they get thrown into a cupboard and forgotten about, and 9 times out of 10, they disappear. However Primark always have flip flops for £1, so it doesn't bother me too much that I buy a new pair each year. This year I went for this turquoise colour (obviously).

Finally I laid eyes on these beauties and I fell in love. I'm a big fan of gladiator style sandals, and I was devastated when I lost my last pair. However as soon as I tried these on I knew I had to make them mine. These came in at £10, but in my opinion they are totally worth it!

So there we have it, that's what I sneakily bought the last time I went to Primark. Next time I'm sure I'll be picking up even more summer goodies for my holiday in August!
