Beauty Besties: What's in my bag?

Welcome back to Beauty Besties, this week we are talking about what is in our handbags! These videos have been floating around Youtube forever, and I always like to have a nosey. However whenever I watch these videos I have a little giggle to myself because the contents of everyone's handbags appear to be perfect. So I decided that I would be 100% honest with my video, and I didn't have a look through my bag beforehand to reorganise it, I just pulled everything out as it is... and hoped it's interesting enough! Epic Disney Tag

It's been ages since I have done a good tag, and what with the recent release of Disney's Cinderella, I thought it was about time I had a go at a Disney related tag post! I found this one online and it's called the 'Epic Disney Tag' and it questions you about all the things you love about Disney. Now we all know that I was brought up on Disney and it is very dear to my heart, so why not share more about me with you all?

1. A Scene in any Disney movie you wish you could experience?

This is a seriously tough one, as there are so many scenes that I would love to experience... Although now I am thinking about it I cannot get the lantern scene from Tangled out of my head... To be on a boat in the middle of a lake, watching thousands of lanterns decorate the sky, with my true love by my side... what could be more dreamy?

2. An unforgettable moment you've had at one of the parks?

This is not necessarily a happy memory for me, but it's one that makes me laugh every time I think about it. When I was seven I went to Disneyland Paris with my family and my dad took me on the Ghost ride, I can't even remember what it was called, but looking into it I think it was the Phantom Manor. So I went on this ride as a seven year old girl, and let just say I was terrified... no not terrified, traumatised. Anyway when I finally got off of the ride my teeth wouldn't stop chattering, like you know in old school cartoons how when a character is scared their teeth chatter... yep... I was literally straight out of an episode of Scooby-doo! AND they wouldn't stop for another 30 minutes after... silly me eh?

3. What non-disney song brings back disney memories for you? 

This one is a tough one to be honest and nothing springs to mind...

4. When was the first time you went to a Disney park?

As above. When I was seven years old I was lucky enough to go to Disneyland Paris, and I have been since then (despite numerous efforts).

5. If you could chose any Disney character to be your best friend, who would it be?

It would have to be Anna from Frozen, me and her are like two sandwiches in a picnic basket! 

6. Who is your favourite Disney Princess?

Probably Tiana from Princess and the Frog. Her hard working attitude is one that I myself share, and I've always gone through life believing that nothing is greater than something that you have worked hard for and earned yourself! 

7. Name a scene/moment from a Disney film that makes you cry without fail?

There are honestly a million scenes in Disney that make me cry, what can I say? I'm an emotional lady... but if I had to pick one it would definitely be the scene in Wall-E when EVE installs a new chip in him, and for a moment you really believe that his character has been completely lost... I blub like a baby at that moment without fail...

8. Your favourite Disney movie?

I have many, as do most Disney fans. I couldn't pick just one, even if I tried. In fact I have been sitting staring into space for the last 20 minutes trying to think of one, and that just goes to show how hard it is...

9. The most overrated Disney movie?

Frozen without a doubt, but it still happens to be one of my absolute favourites! I understand there are a million people out there wishing that the Frozen hype would just die... I however chose to embrace it!

10. The most underrated Disney movie?

Without a doubt The Fox and Hound... I LOVE that movie. I was obsessed with it when I was a kid, and yet I speak to so many people who like Disney, but have never even watched it! It saddens me that people tend to overlook it.

11. Favourite Disney Song?

Another seriously tough one... therefore I MUST name a few:

• I Just Can't Wait to be King - The Lion King
• Be Our Guest - Beauty and the Beast
• Part of That World - The Little Mermaid

12. Least Favourite Disney Movie?

Probably Pinocchio, I don't think I have ever seen it the whole way thorough...

Ursula is definitely a contender... As is Maleficent.

14. Favourite Classic Disney vs your favourite Modern Disney?

My favourite Classic has to be Aladdin, mum says I used to sit in front of it all the time when I was a kid. My favourite modern Disney is probably Frozen, but I honestly couldn't pick between the two in a fight!

15. Favourite Disney Score?

Hands down Frozen, it's the only score that I can sit down and listen to the whole way through without getting distracted!

10 Days of Me: Nine Loves

Excuse me for reusing the above photo collage, but I think nothing can demonstrate one of my greatest loves better than these photos... and with that I'll launch straight into it...

If you've ever been out anywhere with me, and we have come across a dog, then you will know that I cannot help but let out a 'Squee' and run towards said dog for lots of cuddles and kisses. In fact Tim took me to a dog show last summer, and I spent the whole time harassing dog owners with beautiful dogs, and having lots of cuddles (dog owners secretly love people giving their dog attention). I love dogs so much that if I ever have the land/money I have a massive long list of different breeds that I want to own. Top of my list are a Pomeranian, a Dachshund, and a Husky. Of course I already have a beautiful Jack Russell who is my current life companion, and she is beautiful, and good, and I love her more than anything in the world, even Tim (but shhhhhhh don't tell him that!)

Seeing as my love of dogs is so amazingly strong, I thought I share with you my nine favourite breeds! OMG it was so hard to narrow it down to only NINE, and I would also like to point out they are in no particular order!

The "Me Time" Tag

Happy Monday everyone, I hope you are starting your week off on a good note, I certainly am! I saw this tag on a blog a few weeks ago and thought it would be a good one for me to attempt. It also got me to thinking about how much "Me Time" I really spend on myself, and I found myself saying... Not a lot... I do want that to change though, and this tag is the perfect place for me to start!

What do you watch/read during me time?

I like to watch my American TV shows, and also Disney movies when I am trying to unwind. As for reading, I just pick up whatever I happen to be reading at the time.

What do you wear during me time?

Definitely PJ's, and my brand new fluffy slippers! Or my cat onesie ;)

What are your me time beauty products?

A facemask, and some mousturisers...

Current favourite nail polish?

Anything sparkly!

What do you eat/drink during me time?

Chocolate, wine... Basically all the naughty things...

Current favourite candle?

My current favourite candle is one that was hand made for me as a Christmas present. It's set in a cute little teacup, and the scent smells like a cupcake... soooo good

Do you ever have outdoor me time?

The outdoors??? What is this place you speak of?

Would you ever go see a film alone?

Probably, when I was doing my GCSE's I went to see a play by myself, because I couldn't go on the day the school had booked the main trip. So my parents had to book me to go another time and at another theatre. No one wanted to come with me, so I ended up on my own, in a theatre I didn't know, taking notes on a play for my Drama exam... I actually quite enjoyed it, and if no one wanted to go see a film with me, I would probably go on my own!

Favourite Online shop?

Does Amazon count, because I buy a LOT of stuff from Amazon... They have so many different things and it's just so convenient...

Anything else to add?

I definitely that I need to start having a little bit more "Me Time" and I think I will start setting aside at least an hour a day for myself.

The Christmas Tag!

I can't believe it's only 13 days until Christmas, are you feeling ready? I've managed to get myself pretty much ready, and I feel like I'm in a good position this Christmas. In comparison to last year, where I bought all my presents only a week before Christmas (whoops).

1. What is your favourite Christmas Movie/s?

Easily Home Alone, we watch the Home Alone films, one and two ONLY, every year about 10 times each, and they never get old. My family has gotten to the stage where we religiously quote this, and my brother does the best impression of Kevin ever... My second favourite would have to be The Grinch with Jim Carey in it, he is just a legend...

2. Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?

I don't know anyone who opens their present's on Christmas Eve! That's just silly!

3. Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?

One of my favourite Christmas memories was the year that the Wii was the hottest Christmas Gift, and my brother, sister and I were desperate to get out hands on it. Mum and Dad hadn't been separated long, and mum told us we probably wouldn't get a lot for Christmas. So she gave us all our individual presents, and we opened them, and I remember her saying she had gotten a present for all of us to share, and she brings out a present for us to unwrap together. Of course it was a Wii, and I was very excited, but also very cross at mum for spending money she didn't really have.

4. Favourite festive food?

Pigs in Blankets.... They make my Christmas dinner... Other than that I guess Christmas Pudding is pretty good too.

5. Favourite Christmas gift?

My dog, Maizey was a Christmas gift from my mum, and if you want to read more about here you can do so here.

6. Favourite Christmas scent?

I don't have a particular scent in mind, but anything orangey, and with cinnamon, is always a hit with me!

7. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?

I have never had a Christmas Eve tradition, but since Tim and I are actually living together this year, I think we probably should start one. If anyone has an suggestions then please let me know!

8. What tops your tree?

I did a Haul of all our tree decorations on my Youtube Channel which you can watch here. Otherwise I can tell you that we have a white and ivory pearl Christmas Star on the top of our tree this year. 

9. As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?

For me it was always a horse. I had a couple of riding lessons when I was quite young, and from then I was obsessed with having my own horse... Of course I never got one!

10. What's the best part about Christmas for you?

Honestly the best part of Christmas for me is watching people open their presents, especially ones I have bought for them. Oh and also the fact that on Christmas Day you can start drinking as soon as you get up and no one will judge you!

Last Thing You... Tag

So I saw this tag come up in my Bloglovin feed yesterday, as the lovely Leona of Oh! Leona had taken on the tag. After having a quick read, I thought I should give this tag a go.

1. Who Did you Last Talk To?
I just texted my boyfriend and wished him a good day at work!

2. What was the last outfit you wore?
I'm currently wearing my work uniform, which I won't be wearing any longer as of next week! It consists of jeans, a red polo shirt, and branded converse.

3. What was the last thing you ate?
A jaffa cake mini roll, just now... It was delicious though!

4. What was the last thing you drank?
Water, I'm trying to be more healthy and cut down on the amount of fizzy drinks etc. that I drink, so I'm carrying a bottle of water with me at all times.

5. The Last sport you played?
Probably football with my brother, but that was AGES ago... I do want to get back into a sport, I've just got to find the right one for me.

6. Who did you email last?
Our estate agents, we are trying to get all the final details sorted so that we can sign the contracts this week. It's all so exciting!

7. Which one of your friends did you talk to last?
Jade, over Facebook. I can't wait for her to visit next weekend, it will definitely be the boost I'll need after my first week in full time work!

8. The last thing you watched on TV?
Someone from work has got me hooked on The Vampire Diaries spin off, The Originals. So I've been getting up to date with that.

9. The Last Blog you checked?
Oh! Leona's blog, which is where I found this tag! I actually love reading her blog, especially when she puts up pictures of her dog Rex, as he is basically the male version of my dog Maizey!

10. The Last game you played?
My brother and sister have recently dug out our old PS2, so I have been playing Theme Park World! I love that game... my favourite park has to be the scary horror one, it's just too cute!

Pretty Little Liars Tag!

I know... I know... I can already feel all of you sighing at the sight of yet ANOTHER tag on my blog this week, but I can't help that everyone is coming up with loads of awesome tags right now...

Anyway, if you don't know, Pretty Little Liars is an awesome American TV show, and I am totally hooked on it. It's full of awesome fashion, and mysteries and plot twists, along with the occasional heart wrenching storyline! Seriously I recommend that every single one of you checks it out, you will not regret it I promise. However let's get this TAG started!

1. Alison made her return to Rosewood in her statement red coat. What is your wardrobe statement piece?
 My wardrobe statement piece has to be a good LBD. Where would a girl be without her little black dress? I'm actually on the hunt for a new one currently, and I cannot wait to find it!

2. If you could raid anyone's wardrobe, whose would it be?
Definitely Aria's. I love her unique sense of style, she's the perfect blend of feminine and rock, both styles that I admire greatly. However if I had to pick a second in line, I'd definitely go for Hannah's wardrobe.. she is equally as stylish!

3. Which cast member would you go to if you had a problem?
Definitely Hannah, I think that although she can be absent minded, that she cares deeply about others, and I think she's the person who'd most likely help me sort out my problems.

4. Which character.s personality do you think you most relate to?
I would like to think that I am the most like Aria, but I definitely think I'm a mixture of Hannah and Aria together, which of course I don't see as a bad thing!

5. Which character's makeup would you most like to wear?
Probably Hannah or Aria again... Wow this is becoming a real H and A appreciation post, I don't know why, they way their makeup looks is just appealing to me. I mean they are beautiful...

6. Which of the cast would you feel safest with when stuck in an 'A' situation?
I think I would have to pick Spencer. I feel like she handles the situations better than the other girls. I think she'd fight her way out of there, whereas I think the other girls would panic... Saying that though, Aria has had kick boxing lessons now, so maybe she wouldn't go down without a fight either!

The Fairy-tale Tag

I saw this Tag over on Laura's Haven, and I knew I had to answer these questions! If you don't know already, I am obsessed with Disney, and Fairy Tales... I literally couldn't resist doing this tag, so here we go...

Snow White - Do you consider yourself beautiful?

Not really, like don't get me wrong, I don't think I'm ugly or anything, I'm very happy with the way I look, but I wouldn't say I am beautiful.

Sleeping Beauty - How many hours do you sleep a night?

I need at least 8 hours, otherwise I am very grumpy!

Cinderella - Do you have a curfew?

I'm 22... so no I don't.

Rapunzel - Do you love being outside?

I much prefer to be inside, cuddled up on the sofa. However on the odd occasion I do like to get out!

Red Riding Hood - Do you trust strangers easily?

I find it very easy to trust people, but I wouldn't say I trust strangers. I have to get to know someone a little bit first!

The Wolf and the Seven Young Kids - Are you easily fooled?

I don't think I am. It depends what you mean by easily fooled.

Beauty and the Beast - What makes someone beautiful in your eyes?

Someone who isn't afraid to be themselves, someone who makes me laugh. The most beautiful kind of person to me, is someone who doesn't care what other people think of them!

The Little Mermaid - What would you sacrifice for love?

I'm a very loving person, and I go out of my way for the people I love. I'd do anything for the one I love, and he knows that!

Jack and the Beanstalk - Do you have any plants?

Not at the moment, but I'm hoping to get one for our new flat!

Puss in Boots - Do you have pets? If not do you want them?

I have a Jack Russell called Maizey, and she is such a sweetheart. It kills me that when I move out in a few weeks that I can't take her with me. When we do get a place where we can have her, then she will come along with us. However myself and the boyfriend also want a Pomsky! Google them if you've never seen one, they are too cute!

Bluebeard - What is your weak point?

My weak point would definitely be that I worry too much about the future. Instead of just living for the now, I'm constantly worried about where I am going to end up. This has been particularly difficult this week, seeing as I have to make a quite serious decision...

Pinocchio - What is your biggest wish?

My biggest wish is that I will end up in a career in something that I am interested in, and not end up stuck in a job that I don't really want to do, just for the sake of money.

Peter Pan - What is your mental age?

I'm a big kid at heart, I love Disney films and I watch My Little Pony, So I think I have to at least half my real age... so I'd say 11?

My most valuable possession is my dog Maizey. I love her to bits, and even though I'm only moving 20 minutes away from her, I'm going to miss her so much!

I'd say I'm a hard worker! Although I do fall victim to procrastination quite often!

The Snow Queen - Who is your best friend? What would you do for them?

I wouldn't say that I have a best friend at the moment. I have a lot of friends, but none that I currently consider my best friend. When I do get a best friend though, I'd do anything for them! 

The Princess and the Pea - Are you sensitive?

Not particularly, I was bullied a lot when I was in secondary school, so I've developed a thick skin.

Godfather Death - What qualities make a good parent?

The ability to support their child in whatever they want to do, and to not allow their child to fall victim to any kind of social stereotyping!

Who doesn't like parties?

The Emperor's New Clothes - Do you care a lot about your clothing?

Not as much as I care about my Xbox. I do care that I have enough clothes, and that I am slightly in fashion, but I wouldn't say it's something that I obsess over.

The Brave Little Tailor - Do you consider yourself brave?

I think I am brave. I'm just about to change jobs, and I'm moving in with my boyfriend and giving us a proper go. That's a pretty bold move!
