I remember a time when I was single, and I absolutely hated Valentines day. In fact I remember a time when I was in a relationship and still didn't like Valentines day. Thankfully since meeting my current boyfriend, and love of my life (sick buckets at the ready everyone!), I really enjoy Valentines Day. I am a very lucky girl and Tim always spoils me rotten on Valentines Day (not that he doesn't the rest of the year).
So in the spirit of Valentines Day I thought I would share five things I love about Tim...
1. He tells really bad dad jokes... and I find them funny! (Don't tell him I said that)
2. The way he looks and smiles at me when I do/say something he likes.
3. The way he mispronounces words, and then gets really annoyed at me when I laugh about it, it's honestly one of the funniest things in our relationship. My personal favourites are cocoa (co-co-ah), and coup (coo-oop).
4. He honestly gives the best hugs in the world, the kind of hug that feels like he will never let me go.
5. He's really ticklish, which is great fun for me (not so fun for him).
To make it fair, I also asked Tim what are five things he loves about me, here is what he said...
1. The way she smiles at me, it always makes me feel better if I'm in a bad mood.
2. She always knows exactly what to say to me, whether it's to make me understand something clearer, or to reassure me if I'm panicking about something.
3. She's really thoughtful, particularly around special occasions, such as my birthday.
4. She's very good at annoying me/pushing me when there is something I need to do, but am putting off, but she never goes too far.
5. Cuddling her is the most comfortable thing in the world, even when my arm is going dead, or her hair is tickling me, it's just the place where I feel most content in the world.
