Once I had watched the video I headed over to the Simply Be website to have a look at the full collection and to pick out my favourites. The best thing about this collection is it comes in sizes 10-32 meaning that the majority of people will be able to find something that fits them. Being plus sized myself one of my biggest bugbears is going into a shop that only caters for smaller sizes, or only carries 1/2 of each style in larger sizes. So honestly its a relief to find a collection I like that I know will 100% fit me. The new collection has 17 items in total from dresses, to skirts and there are even a couple of tops thrown in for good measure, so which are my favourites?

The first item of the collection that immediately caught my eye was this polka-dot skater dress with a pompom trim around the bottom of the skirt. This dress looks so comfortable, and the bright colours are perfect for Spring/Summer whilst at the same time being subtle enough if you're not a massive fan of bright colours. I can easily see this becoming my go to day dress, and at £35 its the cheapest dress in the collection.

The next item from the collection that caught my eye was this really cute denim jacket. It's a medium wash denim, witch roll up pink cuffs, and gold jewel details on the collar, which make it stand out from your everyday denim jacket. Now personally in my adult life I have never owned a denim jacket, and have never really had the desire for one, that is until I laid my eyes on this one. This would go perfectly with the polka-dot skater dress shown above. This little beauty costs £40, but considering a denim jacket is a wardrobe staple, it can be paired with almost anything to create a more casual look.

Next up is an item of clothing that I wouldn't normally go for, a camisole with a cute cat print. The colour of this top is right up my street, and is a gorgeous deep navy, and that cat print is so cute but at the same time really subtle. This could be paired with anything from jeans to formal trousers to wear to work, or with a skirt just as Louise is pictured here. You can pick this item up for £16, which I think is pretty good for an item of this quality.

My final favourite from this collection is this absolutely eye-catching 50's style jacquard skirt in this lovely baby pink tone, with a subtle heart design. I think this item is the perfect day/night skirt, I could see it easily being worn with a t-shirt and the denim jacket shown above, however it could also be paired with the cat print camisole, a cardigan and heels, to take it into the evening. I'm not normally a fan of pink, and have very little of it in my wardrobe, but would definitely make an exception for this skirt. At £55 this would certainly be an investment for me, but it's one I am considering making!
There are my thoughts on the new Sprinkle of Glitter collection for Simply Be, let me know in the comments which is your favourite item from the new collection...
