I have joined the amazing Cupcake Book Club which is run by An American Cupcake in London! I'm joining it in it's 8th month, and I am super excited! To see the full rules then check out this post, but this is the basic idea.
Every month the book club reads a book (with a baking theme) and then they bake something inspired by the book. We share our ideas and bakes and have a laugh. This month we are going to be reading this:
I've bought the Kindle version of this book (as I couldn't wait to get my hands on it), and I'm going to start reading it tonight. I'm still trawling my way through Wuthering Heights, but I want to start this book sooner rather than later so I can get some baking ideas flowing! Also because I have a LOT of work coming up and soon I won't have as much time for reading, baking, and unfortunately blogging. I will try to get posts up when I can, but they won't be as often as I would like. Once my uni work is out of the way though I'll be all yours!
I was going to have a lovely review for you of Benefit They're Real mascara that I finally caved and bought on Ebay. However I used it once and got a horrible allergic reaction (I never get allergic reactions to makeup), so I think it may have been a fake. Thankfully the seller has agreed to refund me, but I'll certainly be more cautious next time I buy makeup from Ebay.
Also I have a redesign on the horizon! I have got my own domain name now, I'm just waiting for my redesign before I update it so I can launch them both together. My dad is actually doing my redesign so I don't know how long it's going to take him, I may get bored and just end up paying someone else to do it for me. As well as that i'm thinking of combining my nail and lifestyle blog once I have the redesign up and running, but I'm not entirely sure. What do you think?
Oh what a lovely idea. I'll be interested in how you find the whole experience. Quite a few of my friends are book club and book society club members and they love it xx
