5. Make a Scrapbook!
I bought the things to begin making a scrapbook last week when I was birthday shopping in town but today I made a start by organising everything I got and making a title page!
7. Watch every film on my 'to watch' list
I opened up my 'to watch' list this morning and to my horror it was severely outdated. So of course I had to make myself a new list! and here it is:
1. The Godfather
2. Casablanca
3.Psycho
4.Pulp Fiction
5.The Good, The Bad and the ugly
6.Lord of the rings: 1,2,3
7. The Hobbit
8.Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
9.Sin City
10. Pan's Labyrinth
11. Children of Men
12. Rear Window
13. The Shawshank Redemption
14. Requiem For a Dream
15.Little Miss Sunshine
16.Lolita
17.Ed Wood
18.Breakfast at Tiffany's
19. One Day
21.10 things I hate about you
22.Jawbreaker
23.Never Been Kissed
24.Pretty Woman
25. The Ugly Truth
26.Shop Girl
27.P.s I Love You
28. The Time Travellers Wife
You may notice that one of the films is crossed off already! I watched it this afternoon and I will be writing about it shortly! Some of the films on the list are films I've started watching, or ones that I have seen parts of in passing, but most of them are ones I haven't seen at all!
9. Lose Weight
Something that I have been trying to do and failing at for a very long time! I recently purchased 4 exercise DVD's in the hopes that these would kickstart some kind of fitness regime. I HATE going outside to exercise, the entire time I am worried that someone is going to be staring at me and judging me so doing these things in the comfort of my own home is definitely the way to go! I did 2 workouts this morning and I'll admit I almost died, but I'm hoping that they'll get easier the more that I do them!
14. Read 5 Classic Novels
I've been meaning to do this for a LONG time, I have read a few of the classic's when I was in secondary school, but I've been putting off reading them for a long time, for no apparent reason. Anyway I haven't started reading any yet, but today I decided that I would at least make my list of the books I am going to tackle!
- Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte
- David Copperfield by Charles Dickens
- The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne
- The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde
- The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett
I kind of chose these at random from a list, but I do know of them all, so we'll see how this goes!
So that's what I have been getting up to today! Let me know in the comments if you have a goals list and how you are doing with yours!
